Healthy Aging and Wellness Getting older does not mean becoming automatically ill or infirm. You need not feel fearful or overwhelmed at the prospect.
There is an abundance of information and resources available that can enable you to take charge of how you age. Caring for all of yourself - body, mind and spirit - will help you to manage the changes that accompany getting older.
Becoming informed about nutrition, exercise, spirituality, sexuality, stress, and sleep can increase your ability to stay healthy and resilient to these changes. Learning to keep or maintain a sense of humor, social connections and meaningful activities will enhance your retirement years.
