Personal  Growth and Lifelong Learning 

 
Whether due to an attitude of inquiry, a burning curiosity or simply the love of learning, many retired persons enjoy the stimulation and pleasure of continued education. Ongoing learning opportunities, both academic and non-academic, are abundant here.

City of Tucson Parks and Recreation  publishes a program guide & class catalog 4 times a year.

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation  publishes Leisure Times, a catalog of classes, several times a year.

 
  Tucson OASIS
OASIS serves more than 16,000 members in the Tucson area, with programs to foster lifelong learning, healthy aging and fulfilling community service. Membership in OASIS is free and open to anyone age 50 or older.

Pima Community College
In addition to credit programs, the College offers non-credit personal interest classes.

  OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute)
  An affiliate of the University of Arizona, OLLI is organized and led by its own members. Enjoy stimulating, intellectual learning through noncredit courses, discussion groups, study sessions, brown bag lectures, and social activities. Membership is open to seniors willing to participate by moderating discussions, serving on committees, and presenting topics.

Pima County Public Library offers computer classes, book clubs and much more.
